Story

एक किसान की फसल बार-बार बर्बाद हो जाती थी। वह किसान यह नहीं समझ पा रहा था कि आखिर ऐसा क्यों हो रहा है। उसको बहुत सोचने के बाद याद आया कि मेरे खेत में सांप का एक बिल है। मैंने कभी भी नाग देवता की पूजा नहीं की। इसी वजह से नाग देवता क्रोधित होकर मेरी फसल खराब कर देते हैं।

उस किसान ने नाग देवता से माफी मांगी और इस बात का संकल्प किया कि वह हर रोज एक कटोरा दूध उनके लिए रखेगा। वह किसान हर रोज शाम के वक्त सांप के बिल के पास एक कटोरा दूध रख जाता। जब वो सुबह कटोरा उठाने गया तो उसे कटोरे के नीचे सोने का सिक्का मिला। किसान को बहुत खुशी हुई। किसान को सुबह के वक्त हर रोज कटोरे के नीचे सोने का सिक्का मिलता था।

काफी दिनों बाद किसान को अचानक कहीं बाहर जाना हुआ। उसने अपने बेटे से कहा कि तुम आज सांप के बिल के पास कटोरे में दूध रख आना और सुबह के वक्त कटोरे और सोने के सिक्के को उठा लाना। बेटे ने कहा ठीक है मैं कर दूंगा।

किसान का बेटा शाम को कटोरे में दूध रख आया। सुबह होते ही खेत पर चला गया। लेकिन उसने सोचा कि यह सांप बहुत कंजूस है। इसके पास कई सारे सोने के सिक्के हैं। लेकिन यह हर रोज एक सोने का सिक्का देता है। आज मैं इसे मारकर इसके सारे सोने के सिक्के ले लूंगा। किसान के बेटे ने डंडा हाथ में ले लिया और सांप को मारने लगा। हालांकि सांप बच गया और उसने किसान के बेटे को डंस लिया।

कहानी की सीख

इस कहानी से हमें सीखने को मिलता है कि लालच करना बुरी बला है। लालच करने वाला व्यक्ति कभी भी सुखी और सफल नहीं रह सकता। लालच करने वाला व्यक्ति कभी ना कभी बर्बाद हो जाता है।
